Dial Function->Text Menu
This option works in conjunction with Precomposed Text that you set up in the
Preferences area.
When, in a conversation, you hit the Text menu item,
you will see a list
of the various text blurbs listed that you have defined as Precomposed Text.
By choosing one of these predefined text blocks, a simple click of
the mouse will cause the entire text block to be displayed as if you had just typed it all out. This
is great for storing things that you communicate often, such as your mailing address or your web and
email addresses. Or for something much longer like the answer to a frequently asked question.
What we see above is Homer's account, and he does not have any predefined text. The word "everybody"
refers to the department in which he is a member. You can also have predefined text associated with
a department.
So, if someone in the sales department for instance, sets up some predefined text containing a list
of prices, every member of that department will be able to quote prices just by selecting the predefined text.
