Main Toolbar->Settings Menu->Preferences->Conversation Fonts/Colors
The changes you make to fonts and colors will only affect what is displayed on your own desktop. The other(s)
in the conversation will see whatever fonts/sizes they have set up in their own preferences.
- Click on the arrow to the right of the drop-down box to select a different
font face or size.
- For the font that is used in your conversations.
- For the font that will appear when you print your conversations.
- Select a Color Scheme by selecting one of the options in the drop-down box.
- If you choose System Default Colors, your color scheme will be based on whatever
color scheme you have set up in Windows.
- If you choose the NXi Color Scheme, you will get a predefined scheme which
includes a dark blue background in your conversation window, and text colors as in the setup.
- See an example of the NXi Color Scheme.
- You can choose a Custom Color Scheme.
- Set a custom color for the background of your conversation window.
- The different "panes" refer
to the columns for each participant in the conversation. Usually there will be 2 columns--2 people in the
conversation. But if you have a conference call going on, there could be multiple panes. You can assign a
different color font for each pane if you wish.
- Click on the Change button next to each pane for which
you wish to designate a special color. A color picker will open where you can choose a standard color,
or create your own custom color.
- See a conversation with custom fonts/sizes/colors.
Next we will look at selecting Instant Message Colors and Fonts Settings.
