You may notice a few other things on this window we have not yet discussed.

Along the bottom of the window, you can see the length of time the call has been connected, and the word Connected indicating that there is a connection.

• If the connection is user to user, this will say, simply: Connected.
• If the connection involves a modem, this will say: Connected <connection speed>.
• If the connection involves a TTY, this will say: Connected TTY.
