To begin using Nextalk, you must first
Log in.
 Open the software by
clicking on the "Nextalk Client"
icon on your desktop and enter your userid, password, and the domain you wish to connect to. Your username and password will be provided by your NTS System administrator, who creates both usernames and passwords. You can later change your password if you wish.
Once logged in, you will be presented with the Main Toolbar, like the one below:
This tutorial will show you screen shots and give you explanations of the following functions within the
Nextalk program.
The tutorial, can be viewed three ways:
- Move your mouse over
an area in the graphic above to open a window with a description of what that icon or menu item does.
Then click to get a tutorial of that feature.
- Open the Table of Contents (this file), also available
on any page by clicking on Nextalk Tutorial Table of Contents in the title bar above)
to get a functional list of each action within the program, and click on any one to explore its options.
- Open the Index (available on any page by clicking
on Nextalk Tutorial Index in the title bar above) to look topics up alphabetically.
